There are many ways to make money online and you can exhaust your pocketbook and time looking for those ways. After about six months online, I found as a new person that I needed to begin making money online by promoting other people's product as a start. That is what is called affiliate marketing.
The first step is to choose a product that is easy to market at Clickbank. Some people choose to work online promoting drop-ship products for companies and they love it. Personally, I have found that using what is called the Bum Marketing approach, works very well and resulted in a first page listing of one of my first articles that I wrote using these tips. It is not difficult to do once you understand a few key principles there.
Paydotcom is another marketplace that offers a way to make money online and be able to work at home from your own computer. Paydotcom and Clickbank offer the best way for a new person looking to make money online a way to get started. Paydotcom is particularly good at providing banners and emails for each product and makes it easier to promote products online from home.
Both Clickbank and Paydotcom marketplaces provide a great place to make a high commission income by working online from home. You simply choose which product you wish to promote from either site, click on the create hyperlink buttons, and your affliate link or nickname will be embedded into each hyperlink. Then you take that hyperlink and you put in an email that you would send out to a safelist, or to other sites such as free classified sites and when someone clicks on that link you make that percentage of each sale. Beautiful!
Secondly, Clickbank offers such an easy way to begin affiliate marketing. There are thousands of products to choose from. You simply choose one by going to sell products at the marketplace tab, and put in a keyword of the type or product you wish to promote and you can choose that product by popularity or other criteria and many choices will appear. You would want to choose to promote a product with a high gravity. Just wait until you make your first dollar online - it is addictive!
The third step is to drive traffic to wherever your link is posted. You can do this by article marketing such as this article that I am writing. You simply write an article that is at least 300 words long to 800 words in length, and post them to article directories online that you can find by searching for that term. Writing articles and putting a link to your website in the resource box is a great way to drive traffic back to your free blog or your paid hosted blog.
The wonderful advantage of article marketing online and as a way to make money online from home is that once you write your article and it goes viral and spreads around the internet, you can reap rewards financially from that one article for many months. If it is a well-written article many article directories will pick up your article and republish it and your efforts will be magnified many times over.
When you have traffic coming from article marketing or email promotions where you included your affiliate link, you will find that making money online from home is not so hard after all. The secret is to be consistent in submitting a slow, steady stream of articles to the article directories all pointing back to your website or free blog.
