You Have To Answer Emails If You Want To Succeed on eBay

I'm constantly amazed of the amount of eBay sellers who can't be bothered to return a simple e-mail. It takes them a week to do s, and they wonder why their eBay business is struggling to make any sales.
To put it bluntly, you will never succeed on eBay if you offer horrible communication. If you can't handle it, don't bother starting a business (of any kind).
I think some people treat their business e-mails like they do their personal yahoo or hotmail emails. They put it off or just don?t bother replying.
If you are at your house or your place of business and you get an email about your business, stop whatever you're doing. People are always impressed to see a returned email within minutes.
Doing this shows great professionalism. It also shows that truly care about their question or the problem they might be having.
The thing that most amazes me are the sellers who don't respond after somebody basically tells them that they will buy their product. They just have one small question about it.
For example, you might get an email from somebody asking what the combined shipping costs would be if they bought two or three products. This is a classic example of a buy question. All the seller has to do is answer it. If they answer it quickly they pretty much guarantee the sale. It doesn't give the potential buyer any time to change his mind.
It's also perfect when you get an angry email from a customer. Let's say you shipped out the wrong product to the buyer and he comes back with a very angry email, threatening you, insulting you, etc..
The real horrible sellers on eBay would put off answering the email. Either they'd wait a couple of days or some wouldn't even bother replying because they don't want to deal with it. But I can guarantee you, if you answer that email as soon you finish reading it, the buyer will always calm down and you can communicate in a much more civil way.
